DIY Matchbox Car Organizer

Are your kids' Matchbox or Hot Wheels toy cars constantly scattered all over their playroom or bedroom? Sadly, even if you purchased an organizing solution to keep their cars in order, you may find that it creates more chaos than order. A nice bin may seem like a great organizing solution to throw his toy cars into - but what happens when he goes searching for his favorite red race car? Out go the cars - all over the floor.

Well, worry no more!! Here is a genius and visually stunning way to organize all of your kid's mini toy cars:

A DIY toy car organizer made out of stackable wooden shoe racks. I stumbled upon this great idea on pintrest and had to share it with you all! Here's the original post with directions on how to make this genius organizer:

Valentines Day Owl Bag Craft

I love kids crafts and so do my kids! Doing crafts with your little ones allows for special time spent together. It creates a base for conversation and memories that will last a life time.

We named her Olivia the Owl

Here is a cute, fun and easy craft that you can do with your kids this Valentines Day. Your little ones can use the finished product as a goodie bag that can be filled with valentines for their loved ones. It can also be used as a festive decoration and proud art work for your kids to display in your home.

Here's what you'll need:
  • Mini paper bags (your color of choice -pink was used here)
  • White foam shapes (for this we used circles for the eyes and a heart for the beak)
  • Pink triangle foam shapes (for the ears)
  • Foam heart shapes (we used red for the wings and black for the feet)

All of the foam shapes we used were stickers with adhesive on the backs. No need for glue. However, if you can't find sticker foam shapes, you can always use regular shapes and glue them directly to the bag.

There it is! A fun activity and great quality time spent with your little one.

Use this craft as a fun gift bag!!
